CAIRTEX-ESA-JUELICH - Technical Assistance for the CAIRT Experiment by means of a Balloon-borne Limb Sounding Campaign in Canada

The study is designed to support the CAIRT satellite, candidate to be the Earth Explorer 11 mission of ESA. In the frame of the HEMERA project, the CAIRT precursor GLORIA has been flown on a stratospheric balloon, along with FIRMOS (presursor of the FORUM instrument). The measurement of GLORIA and FIRMOS will be processed to the level1 stage and then they will be analysed with state of the art codes to produce level 2 data and used to assess the capability of the CAIRT proposed instrumentation to meet the mission requirements.
