Alessandro Sozza

My main research interest is focused on the study of the statistical properties of turbulent flows coupled with Lagrangian models. My research works are inspired by geophysical phenomena, such as stratified turbulence to model oceans and atmospheres, particle-fluid interactions to model heat/mass transfer and turbulence modification induced by dust and aerosols.

At ISAC-CNR, I'm currently working on climate modelling, within the project MARTINI "Machine learning techniques for ocean spinup acceleration".
