Research Activity
Virna Meccia is a researcher at ISAC-Bologna since January 2019. During her work experience, she has dealt with different topics of the marine sciences. The main research interests were regional ocean modelling, the Southern Ocean circulation and its implications on the global climate, and the sea-air interaction. In the last years, she has mainly been interested in studying the response of the Earth system to climate change through coupled climate models.
