Karam Mansour is a PhD student at the University of Bologna and research grant-holder at the Institute of Atmospheric Sciences and Climate (ISAC), within the Italian National Research Council (CNR). His research activities are on "Air-sea interactions" particularly marine aerosol active as ice nuclei, investigating its Physico-chemical properties and formation processes in relation to the oceanic biological activity seasonal cycles and development of models and instruments for the study of the marine spray in the Mediterranean Sea. His previous research work is the study of the regional climate change response of hydrometeorological variables (e.g. sea surface temperature, air temperature, atmospheric pressure, evaporation, and precipitation) over the Mediterranean Sea.
