SERCO-IDEAS-QA4EO-BO/SUB27 - Quality Assurance For Earth Observation - QA4EO/SER/SUB/27 CCN9

This proposal is motivated by the need to analyze the new version of level 1B data of the the (A)ATSR(-1/2) instrument series with the AIRWAVE algorithm designed for the retrieval of the Total Column Water Vapor from ATSR infrared channels at 11 and 12 um. The new version of level 1B data will also be analyzed with new AIRWAVE retrieval parameters  calculated with an updated radiative transfer model. The obtained TCWV values will be validated with satellite and ground-based data.
