With more than 30 research Institutes from 15 countries the EU project StratoClim will provide a better understanding of key processes in high troposphere and stratosphere that influence the climate system.
ISAC researchers are part of this effort with measurements of the aerosol component in the upper layer of the Asian Monsoon performed from instrumented airplane and soundings from several stations in Nepal, Bangladesh and India.
