Research Activity

I'm a PhD in Environmental Engineering. My research stream deals with the climate change and extreme weather events impacts on natural hazards with a focus on potential effects on “hotspots” like the high-mountain regions and urban areas. Main interests are: i) climate data processing and analysis for the historical and future scenarios characterization of climate-related natural hazards, ii) statistical modelling aimed to identify and assess triggers related to the identified hazards, iii) to better understand risks of climate-related impacts through the assessment of the interaction of such hazards with vulnerability and exposure of the physical and socio-economic systems to iv) support climate adaptation strategies through public engagement and co-participatory approaches.
