PRA_A-PAW - Air Pollution in the Arctic Winter (A-PAW): an Italian contribution to the ALPACA field experiment

The PACES (Air Pollution in the Arctic: Climate, Environment and Societies) programme has organized a field study in Fairbanks (Alaska), named ALPACA and scheduled for Jan-Feb 2021. ALPACA will be the first field experiment targeting particulate matter pollution in an Arctic urban environment. As an Italian contribution to ALPACA, we will characterize aerosol transport and composition in the lower boundary layer, and assess toxicological proxies and toxic compounds in the aerosol and depositions.
