Our colleague Leo Pio D'Adderio, participating to Cost Action "MedCyclones" (CA19190) together with Giulia Panegrossi, Paolo Sanò, Daniele Casella and other colleagues, released an interview on the characterization of Medicanes based on satellite observations.
MedCyclones is an important transnational initiative, funded by the COST Association, focused on the study of Medicanes, rare and destructive cyclones developing tropical-like features, that are occurring more and more frequently in the Mediterranean region.
Our colleague Silvio Davolio is co-chairing this COST Action together with Dr. Emmanouil Flaounas from the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR).
