INACO aims at improving the resilience of the Central European regions in facing climate change impacts on environmental, cultural, socio-economic and human assets. Measures, information tools and risk management plans will be developed in order to support the regions in facing this challenge and improve the capacities of local authorities to develop risk management plans aimed at protecting the most sensitive sites (cultural and natural resources) within river basin districts, through information technologies and the direct involvement of citizens. To maximise synergies between the political, governmental and operational levels including citizens in the field of disaster awareness an integrated approach is applied. Project activities will be focused on 1 - Enhancing strategies for increasing resilience of sensitive CNH assets in CE river basin districts. The objective will be tailoring and improving jointed strategies to enhance/adopt risk management plans for river basin areas which include CNH at risk, through the strengthening of local authorities’ capacity and the involvement of citizens. 2 - Web based solution for safeguarding CNH sensitive objectives of river basin districts in a changing environment. These set of activities will be focused on the update and improvement of the Risk mapping tool developed within the projects Protecht2save and STRENCH and it will be focused on the pilot actions implementation. The aim of this activities is to channelling efforts, lessons learned and tool developed in the previous activities and put in place tangible and measurable actions to enhance competences of key local stakeholders entrusted with management of CNH sites of the river basin districts covered by the INACO Partners. 3 - Elaboration of Risk Management Plans for CNH sites in river basin districts. This WP will be focused on the setting up of the risk management plan, risk managers setting role definition and solutions development.
