ISAC-CNR participates in the first edition of New Space Economy European ExpoForum (10-12 December 2019, Rome).
This is the first 360-degree event dedicated to the space economy where the main players of the New Space Economy and the Old Economy meet and confront each other to think about the new potential of the space ecosystem.
ISAC has realized interventions and poster sessions (soon available) concerning the activities of earth observation from space, and planning of new observational methodologies from stratospheric platforms and new aerial facilities within the collaboration of the CNR with the Ufficio Generale per lo Spazio dello Stato Maggiore of the Italian Air Force. Through this collaboration Italy will acquire the capacity for space access in terms of suborbital flight, air launch and stratospheric platforms. ISAC also presented at the CNR exhibition space (Hall 9) the WebGIS tool created as part of the ProteCHt2save project for the protection of cultural heritage from extreme events related to climate change.
