On 28 February, the ‘Nature-Based Solutions’ event organised by the Po Delta Regional Park Emilia Romagna was held in Comacchio (FE). The meeting was an important opportunity to discuss ‘Nature-Based Solutions’ (NBS) and their potential in responding to environmental challenges in the Po Delta Regional Park.
Alessandro Sardella from the CNR-ISAC presented research related to two significant projects that represent a step forward in the sustainable management and protection of our heritage:
1. INACO: A project coordinated by CNR-ISAC and funded by the Interreg Central Europe programme, it aims to improve the resilience of cultural and natural heritage in Central European river basin districts. This project develops innovative tools, such as WebGIS-based solutions, for risk management and protection of cultural and natural heritage.
2. Ecosister: PNRR project supporting ecological transition and territorial cooperation, with a focus on the protection of cultural and natural heritage. Ecosister integrates with regional and national programming to promote sustainability and innovation.
