READY Track 2- Safeguarding Cultural Heritage in Times of Crisis – Information Meeting

READYSafeguarding Heritage Cities, Sites, Buildings, Living Traditions and Practices in the face of Disasters, Extreme Weather Events and Complex Emergencies is an international training initiative developed by ICCROM within its First Aid and Resilience for Cultural Heritage in Times of Crisis (FAR) programme, in partnership with the European Commission and funded by the European Union through the Creative Europe Programme.

The programme aims to strengthen capacities across Europe to protect cultural heritage and associated living traditions from disasters, climate-related risks, and complex emergencies.

Following the successful first year of training, which brought together 24 risk managers and cultural first aiders from 19 countries, ICCROM is now launching READY Track 2, a new immersive training focused on safeguarding immovable, archaeological, and intangible cultural heritage from 18 May 2026 to 26 Feb 2027 in Romania (TBC).

Join us to discover how READY Track 2 can strengthen your capacity to manage risks to heritage cities, sites, buildings, and living traditions — and how you can become part of the next European cohort of risk managers and cultural first aiders.
