CNR-ISAC was present during the Klimahouse 2025 fair in Bolzano from January 29th to February 1st, 2025. Gianluca Cadelano and Alessandro Bortolin from Padova headquarters, together with Giovanni Ferrarini e Stefano Rossi from Construction Technology Institute (ITC), presented the projects focused on the topic of sustainability, in which CNR-ISAC and ITC are involved, among them GEO4CIVHIC, ECHO, Friend Europe and iNEST. A prototype of a monitoring system of the indoor environmental quality was showcased.
Many visitors interacted with the researchers showing great interest in the topic of environmental sustainability. Moreover, the activities of the European Enterprise Network (EEN) and Friend Europe project were exposed to many owners of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME).
On January 30th, 2025, a conference titled “Innovation and Sustainability – Opportunities for SMEs in European Projects”, organized by CNR-ISAC Padova headquarters in the framework of Friend Europe project, was held.
The event aimed to raise awareness of the SMEs about the opportunities provided by European Union-funded research and innovation programs. The event showcased the potential for sustainable innovation through European projects and highlighted how cooperation between companies and research centers can enhance growth and competitiveness in the global market. This event represented a valuable opportunity for SMEs interested in sustainability and innovation.
Adriana Bernardi, from CNR-ISAC, presented her experience of coordinator of many European projects as well as the evolution of the framework programmes of the European Union.
Luc Pockelè, from Red srl company, explained the benefits that the company received in terms of competitiveness from the participation in European projects and the cooperation with research organizations.
Monica Favaro, from CNR-ICMATE, described the funding mechanisms that European Union devotes to SMEs and the opportunities coming from the interaction with EEN for the SMEs.
