MILORD simulation of potential accidental releases from Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant

Immagine_Zaporizhzhia

WHAT IF ….. an accidental or intentional pollutant release occurs at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine during the atrocious war going on there?

The long-range Lagrangian particle dispersion model MILORD is used to trace a 15-days dispersion pattern of a continuous emission.

The results of 15-days simulations for an imaginary release will be shown every two weeks.

MILORD runs are made together with Matteo M. Musso, PhD student.
