On the summer issue of the open-access Copernicus journal (I.F. 5.053) the 80 pages Review: Particulate matter, air quality and climate: lessons learned and future needs. (S.Fuzzi et al., 2015) ( .PDF). Besides the first author Sandro Fuzzi, CNR-ISAC institute is represented by 3 more researchers.
The Review gathers scholars from 11 institutes spread in 7 European countries.
ISAC-Roma, together with the Research Area Tor Vergata organizes a citizen science campaign, from the 1st September until the 15th of October. The campaign is part of the European iSPEX project, proposed by the University of Leiden Netherlands) and uses small optical devices mounted on smart phones to measure the presence of aerosols in the atmosphere.
The three Environmental Climate Observatories, developed by ISAC-CNR during last years in the framework of I-AMICA Project(PON-REC 2007-2013), (PON-REC 2007-2013), have been accepted as Regional Stations in the Global Atmosphere Watch (GAW-WMO) Programme.
