Research interests

I'm a PhD in Environmental Engineering. My research adopts an interdisciplinary approach to investigate the impacts of climate change and extreme weather events on hydrogeological risk, with particular focus on vulnerable hotspots such as urban and high-mountain areas. My interests include: i) processing and analyzing climate data to characterize natural hazards under historical and future scenarios; ii) developing statistical models aimed to identify and assess triggers related to the identified hazards, iii) advancing the understanding of climate-related risks by exploring the interactions among hazards, vulnerability, and exposure across physical and socio-economic systems to iv) support climate adaptation strategies.
