Short Bio

Degree in physics from University of L’Aquila in 1995 defending the thesis with the title: “A general circulation model for the simulation of the chemical composition of the stratosphere”. In 1999 he finished the PhD in Physics at University of Calabria discussing the thesis with the title “Dynamical climatology of Calabria”. During the PhD period, he was vising student at the Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado from 1 July 1997 to 1 November 1997. In this period, he learned to use RAMS (Regional Atmospheric Modeling System) that he applied and developed widely in the following of his career.
