The workshop will be hosted by the GOA group of Valladolid University and will take place between June 24 and 26, 2015.
To reach the Univeristy from the city center, you can take bus Nr.8 from bus stop at "Plaza Fuente Dorada" or walk about 25 minutes.
Here you can find the location of the recommended hotels Atrio and Catedral, the meeting place at "Facultad de Ciencias" (Science Faculty), the train station, etc.
Valladolid can be easily reached by plane, train or road. Some possibilities are:
1. We recommend to take a flight to Madrid-Barajas airport. Then go to Madrid-Chamartin train station (by Metro, local train or taxi) and take train to Valladolid. The train can be booked online at http://www.renfe.com/EN/viajeros/index.html. There are frequent connections, that take about 1h. Note that from the airport to the train station you may need about 50 minutes.
2. Another possibility is flying diectly to Valladolid airport, that has regular connections with Barcelona and Paris-Orly. Then take bus or taxi to the city center.
3. By road: there are highway connections with Madrid-airport, where you can easily rent a car. The distance is about 200km, approximately 2:15h of travel. In Valladolid there is a strong parking regulation. Contact the hotel or us to arrange some parking place.
