  • Analysis of storm cloud top microphysics using satellite sensors of new generation at very high spatial resolution (e.g. MODIS, MISR).
  • Satellite intense rainfall estimations using combined techniques in the infrared, visible and microwave.
  • Climatology of warm season precipitation using long term geostationary satellite observations.
