ISAC is a national institute of CNR which counts
over 200 staff members, postdoctoral researchers, and students are organized into four
divisions and focus on understanding atmospheric processes and climate
- Dynamic Meteorology
- Geophysical fluid dynamics, basic properties of turbulence, dynamic climatology and predictability of weather and climate
- Synoptic and mesoscale meteorology, numerical modelling, data assimilation and forecasting
- Atmospheric boundary layer, micrometeorology, urban atmosphere
- Air quality, transport and dispersion of pollutants in the atmosphere
