I am interested in fluid dynamics and turbulence. More specifically, in understanding the statistical laws governing turbulent motions in a variety of systems, from low dimensional ones, to atmospheric boundary layers, clouds, oceans and complex suspensions. I also work on modeling fragmentation process. I investigate these problems with both theoretical and numerical tools.
Keywords: Fluid Mechanics of Complex Flows. Turbulence. Statistical Physics of out-of-equilibrium systems. Geophysical Fluid Dynamics. Fragmentation processes. HPC: Direct numerical simulations and Large-eddy simulations.
Since Feb. 2016, Associate Editor of Physics of Fluids
