Cluster Beowulf for parallel computing

Cluster Beowulf with 14 nodes of 3 different types, for a total of 176 CPU cores and 288 GB of RAM.
It is used for the software development and for HPC applications for atmospheric and oceanographic fluid dynamics modeling.
The cluster hosts the following HPC applications: WRF model (developed at NCAR), BOLCHEM model (developed at ISAC), Large-Eddy symulations and Direct Numerical Simulations (developed at ISAC). The GOS team uses it mainly for the Lagrangian dynamics runs with the software LAGKIN3.1.MPI developed by the GOS, and to run coastal dynamics simulations by means of model GERRIS.
