Surface-atmosphere exchange of aerosol, trace gases and energy

This research topic concerns the study of turbulent dynamics of the exchanges surface/atmosphere for mass (fine and ultrafine particles and gases), energy and momentum in the atmospheric boundary layer, using eddy-covariance techniques. Atmospheric observations are performed with micrometeorological instrumentation using ultrasonic anemometers and fast sensors to measure both wind velocity field and concentration fluctuations. The data on tracer dynamics (emission, diffusion and transport)  and energy exchange allaw specific applications within air quality and climate change studies.
