Numerical Modeling, Predictability and Data Assimilation in Weather, Ocean and Climate
A Symposium Honoring the Legacy of Anna Trevisan – Bologna, 17-20 October 2017
The event aims to honor the memory of Anna Trevisan and of her scientific contributions. The sessions are open to all those scientists, students and colleagues who have worked with Anna Trevisan in person, to those whose past and current and research has been influenced by Anna’s work and by her personality, as well as to those who expect to gain future insights from the communications presented at this symposium.
The Symposium will be structured along three thematic areas:
- Numerical modeling of the atmosphere,
- Predictability, and
- Data Assimilation;
and it will have solicited and submitted contributions. The contributions will be published in a Special Issue of Nonlinear Processes in Geophysics subject to standard peer-review process.
Symposium has no fees but registration is mandatory. The deadline is 15 September 2017
We welcome abstracts for both oral and poster contributions. The new deadline for submission is July 31st (2017-07-31). For further information visit the Abstract submission page.
Abstract submission is closed.
